Statement by Ontario MPP Mike Schreiner, Guelph, on Duty Counsel Day
On Duty Counsel Day, I want to give a shout out to all duty counsel across Ontario.
You are doing such essential work to protect justice and human rights in this province and in particular for those in more marginalized and vulnerable situations.
Everyone deserves access to justice and legal advice, not just those who can afford it.
So thank you to all the duty counsel for making that a reality. And thank you for being there on Duty Counsel Day, and every day.
